i appreciated the manor house suite, especially its size. the balcony was a nice private space, located across the hall. the gardens provided a quiet escape. staff were discreet and helpful.
i found some local roadworks caused additional traffic delays, impacting travel. this detracted slightly from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. the roadwork's impact on accessibility was a minor inconvenience.

enchanting stay
superb service manor house friendly staff
we returned to celebrate a birthday and the gardens were excellent the premium room offered superb service i appreciated a surprise gift the hotel provided to mark our special occasion the setting with the manor house and arboretum offered a romantic ambiance. the staff were attentive and friendly i found it easy to walk into town or use the nearby bus. wonderful gardens were also within walking distance i enjoyed the easy access to nature.
i found the crazy paving around the site somewhat dangerous walking required constant attention to each step the room seemed a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment i had hoped for a more modern space.

The gardens were really good. I found the lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere so relaxing. i especially liked the variety of exotic trees and plants. the breakfast buffet had fresh fruit and pastries. really good coffee. I enjoyed eating outside in the beautiful garden setting. the hotel provided a guided tour of the banana plantationwith a demonstration of the irrigation process and local fruit tasting.
the gym had limited equipment.
